++ Combi Flex Lightweight Full Sized Tri fold Stroller in Black Wasabi

Bought this when my son was about 4 mos old and now he's almost 3 years old. Already had a travel system, which I loved and continue to use, but it was not convenient for the babysitter because it was too bulky. She needed something smaller and more lightweight. So we bought this, excited because it seemed like it would be useful for many, many years. It has failed us, but it really did seem great at first.

PROS

Folds small, which is great for my small car

Seemed very lightweight (compared to my larger Travel System stroller)

Stands alone very nicely when folded

Carryon strap looked very convenient for public transport

Got it half price at Babies R Us. Maybe it was a floor model, don't recall why.

CONS

It's not that lightweight. And so when you carry it on your shoulder, OUCH.

Mesh basket not durable. Broke within a few months! (Note: MacLaren umbrella stroller storage much more durable)

Nowhere, other than mesh basket, to hold parent drink/stuff.

Absolutely needs two hands to close properly. Need two hands to collapse it, and then again, two hands to secure that clasp. Mind you, if you don't use the clasp, it doesn't stay shut, so it can't stand by itself.

Clasp is not forgiving. If you have anything in mesh basket or seat (even light blanket), or if fabric gets stuck, it really won't close.

Was never easy to use with one hand, and recently, wheels started to be difficult to turn. Now, they're unreliable and it's unsafe to use.

Have to go buy another stroller, very frustrating.
